The government knows that they are tough to work with and they want a steady stream of new companies selling their goods and services so the government funds the PTAC program (PTAP) which provides training and coaching to new businesses that are considering selling to the federal government.
PTACs are there to coach and assist, point you in the right direction as you are getting going:
The PTACs aren't going to do your work for you, and they aren't experts in your technical space:
PTAC tend to be staffed by dedicated employees who genuinely want to help new businesses. So do your research, read the posts here at FedScout and use our free Market Research tools, then go find your local PTAC, and if you are going to bid on work from a federal customer that is outside your state talk to that customer's local PTAC.
